A cottage cheese (paneer) lover’s favourite, Paneer Seekh Kebab, is a gastronomical dish you can’t afford to miss! Made of fresh Shuddh Paneer (cottage cheese), spices, and herbs. This Paneer recipe is quick, juicy, flavourful, and a perfect party snack.

Note: This dish can be made in an oven too. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees and place the skewers in a baking tray. Cook them for 12-15 mins.
Ingredients & Measurements :
- Shuddh Paneer (cottage cheese) (grated) – 400 grams
- Shuddh Dahi (yogurt) – 50 gms
- Roasted Chana Dal powder (baby chickpeas) – 1 Tablespoon
- Ginger – Garlic – Green Chilli paste – 1 Tablespoon
- Oil – 1 Tablespoon
- Red Chili Powder – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Chaat Masala – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Coriander leaves (chopped) – 1 Tablespoon
- Garam Masala – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Cashew Paste – 1 Tablespoon
- Fresh Cream (malai) – 1 Tablespoon
- Lemon Juice – 2 Teaspoons
- Salt to Taste
- Parantha to serve
- Onion Rings to serve
- Green Chutney to serve
- Cherry Tomato halved to serve
- Mint Springs to serve
Instructions :
- Take a large bowl, add Shuddh Paneer (cottage cheese), ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, and roasted chana dal powder and mix well.
- Now add red chilli powder, chaat masala, garam masala and salt.
- Add cashew nut paste, Shuddh Dahi (yogurt), coriander leaves, and lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
- Now divide the mixture into equal portions, pat each portion over satay sticks or skewers, or pat it like a Tikki if both are unavailable.
- Take a non-stick grill pan and heat the oil in it. Now place the kebabs and cook them, rotating the sides until they get golden brown.
- Voila, your delicious Paneer Seekh Kebab is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestion :
Have it with parantha or just chutney. Add a kebab over parantha, drizzle some green chutney and lemon juice, garnish with onion rings, mint springs, and some cherry tomato and relish the flavours. View more recipes here.
