Paneer Sandwich

An easy recipe that is succulent and delicious enough to make you feel wholesome. Made with Shuddh Paneer (cottage cheese), spices, herbs, & veggies, it is a quick breakfast or lunch recipe.

Ingredients & Measurements :

  • Bread (White, Multigrain or Brown)
  • Cottage cheese (Shuddh Paneer, Crumbled) – 150 grams
  • Corn – 1/2 cup
  • Carrots -1/2 cup
  • Peas – 8 to10 pods
  • Coriander – 1/2 finely chopped
  • Green Chilies – 2 pcs finely chopped
  • Capsicum – Half blanched
  • Chilli powder -1/2 Teaspoon
  • Cumin powder – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Butter – 2 tablespoon
  • Ketchup – 2 Tablespoon
  • Mint Sauce – 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt to taste

Instructions :

  • Slice down corners of the bread, apply butter on it and grill it for 2 minutes on each piece.
  • Power boil veggies until cooked. (Corn, Carrot, and Peas).
  • Once cooked, take a bowl, add Shuddh Paneer, veggies and mix them well.
  • Add capsicum, Coriander, Green Chilies to the bowl.
  • Add Ketchup, Mint Sauce, Chili Powder, Cumin Powder, and Salt.
  • Mix them well until appropriately combined.
  • Now spread little mint chutney and ketchup on the grilled bread slice (as preferred).
  • Add the stuffing and cover it with another slice on top, and grill it for a minute again.
  • You can add cheese to it if you like. Also, you can add butter on the top while grilling to make it more crispy.
  • Finally, slice it in half, and your sandwich is ready to eat.

Serving Suggestion :

Have it with Coleslaw or Jalapeno dip.
